Trade Agreement: Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT) Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Competitive Procurement Strategy: Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: DPO/GCC - N/M M. Charles -DOCKING AND REPAIR The Statement of work is as follows: To carry out the docking and repairs of the Canadian Coast Guard vessel - M/V M. Charles. The work must be in accordance with the associated Technical Specifications detailed in the Statement of Work; Inspections, Tests and Trials; and Project Management Services For specifications, drawings, test sheets, annexes and appendices, bidders must contact the Contracting Authority identified in the bid solicitation. Work Period - Marine: Work must commence and be completed as follows: Commence: April 19, 2017; Complete: April 27, 2017. Bidders' Conference (Optional): A bidders' conference will be held at the Institute for Ocean and Sciences, 9860 West Saanich Road, Sidney, British Columbia, on March 20, 2017. The conference will begin at 11:00 am (Pacific Standard Time) and will be held in the Physics Conference room. Bidders should provide, in writing, to the Contracting Authority, thenames of the person(s) who will be attending and a list of issues they wish to table at least three (3) working days before the scheduled conference. Optional Site Visit - Vessel (Optional): The site visit will be held right after the bidder’s conference. Dimensions of the ship M/V M. Charles: : Length Overall: 39.72 M. Displacement maximum: 253 T Sourcing Strategy: The sourcing strategy related to this procurement will be limited to suppliers in the area of Origin of the vessel, (West Canada) in accordance with the PWGSC Supply Manual Article 3.170.10(b). This procurement is subject to AIT and is exempt from NAFTA [see Chapter 10, Annex 1001.2b, paragraph 1 (a)] and from the WTO-AGP (see Annex 4). "The sourcing strategyrelating to this procurement will be limited to suppliers in the Province or Territory or Origin (as applicable) or the Area of Origin (as applicable) in accordance with the Shipbuilding, Repair Refit and Modernization Policy." Delivery Date: Above-mentioned The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
