    PV INKSTER - REFIT & DOCKING
    
    The required work includes:
    (a)  Carrying out the dry-docking, refit, and undocking of the
    Royal Canadian Mounted Police's Patrol Vessel P.V. Inkster in
    accordance with the associated technical specifications detailed
    in the Statement of Work and associated appendices and annexes
    which are available by contacting the Contracting Authority by
    e-mail at michal.szczesniak@pwgsc-tpsgc.gc.ca; and
    (b)  Carrying out any approved unscheduled work not covered in
    (a) above.
    
    The proposed work period is October 13, 2015 to December 8, 2015.
    
    The sourcing strategy relating to this procurement will be
    limited to suppliers in the Area of Origin (Western Canada) in
    accordance with the Shipbuilding, Repair Refit and Modernization
    Policy.
    
    A bidders' conference will be held in Port Alberni, British
    Columbia, on September 15, 2015. The conference will begin at
    1:00 PM local time. The scope of the requirement outlined in the
    bid solicitation will be reviewed during the conference and
    questions will be answered. It is recommended that bidders who
    intend to submit a bid attend or send a representative. 
    Arrangements have been made for a tour of the work site. The
    site visit will be held on September 15, 2015 immediately
    following the Bidder's Conference.  Bidders should provide, in
    writing, to the Contracting Authority, the name(s) of the
    person(s) who will be attending and a list of issues they wish
    to table no later than 2:00 PM on September 11, 2015.
    
    Arrangements have been made for additional site visit
    opportunities to be held at the Port Alberni Harbour Quay during
    the afternoon of September 29, 2015 and the morning of September
    30, 2015.  Bidders must communicate with the Contracting
    Authority no later than Noon (PDT) on September 28, 2015 to
    confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who
    will attend.  Bidders who do not confirm attendance and who do
    not provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend as
    required will not be allowed access to the site.
