    TUG, BARGE & CRANE CHARTERING SERVICES
      
    Summary
    The Canadian Coast Guard objective is to rebuild or refurbish 8 fixed aids to navigation in Victoria, Harbour, B.C. and requires Contractor to
     provide tug, barge and crane chartering services, heavy machinery assistance, and construction support. The maintenance/repair of the ai
    ds to navigation are essential to ensure safe and accessible waterways for Canadians.  The work to be done is referenced in the Statement of Work at Annex A of the solicitation.
    
    Contractor must provide the following: 
    A) Concrete Demolition; 
    B) Concrete Construction; 
    C) Concrete delivery; and 
    D) Pile dolphin construction.
     
    Work Period
    Approximately 12 days overall to be scheduled within the period 19 July to
     30 July 2017.  
    
    Detailed scheduling, to be completed within the above period, is given in the Work Schedule referenced at Annex A of the solicitation.
    
    Debriefings
    Bidders may request a debriefing on the results of the bid solicitation 
    process. Bidders should make the request to the Contracting Authority within 15 working days of receipt of the results of the bid so
    licitation process. The debriefing may be in writing, by telephone or 
    in person.
    
    Trade Agreements  
    The requirement is subject to the provisions of the Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT).

    The requirement is subject to a preference for Canadian goods and/or services
    
    Bidder’s Conference
    A bidders' conference will be held at 25 Huron street on May 25, 2017. The conference will begin at 10:00AM Pacific time, in the Julien Wedge room. The scope of the requirement outlined in the bid solicitation will
     be reviewed during the conference and questions will be answered. It 
    is recommended that bidders who intend to submit a bid attend or send a 
    representative.
    
    Bidders are requested to communicate with the Contracting Authority before the conference to confirm attendance. Bidders should provide, in wr
    iting, to the Contracting Authority, the name(s) of the person(s) who will be attending and a list of issues they wish to table no later than Ma
    y 24, 2017 at 2:00PM.
    
    Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from 
    the bidders' conference will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation. Bidders who do not attend will not be precluded from submitting a bid.
