    Task-Based Informatics Professional Services (TBIPS) Requirement:  
    
    Proposal and Description of Requirement (including options): To solicit bids, under the Task Based Informatics Professional Services Supply Arrangement (TBIPS SA) method of supply, for the provision of informatics professional services for the Canadian Intellectual Property Office (CIPO) of Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED).
    
    Description of the requirement:   Canadian Intellectual Property Office (CIPO) of Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED) has a requirement for Technology Partner Services to support its multi-year, multi-phased IT Modernization initiative that essentially consists of two (2) distinct, major requirements: CIPO Digital Services (CDS) and Intellectual Property Rights Management Services (IPRMS). A single Request for Proposal (RFP) will be conducted to solicit respective bids for CDS and IPRMS requirement due to the similarity of the solicitation process. 
    
    It is intended to result in the award of up to two (2) contracts for the CDS requirement and up to two (2) contracts for the IPRMS requirement, each for two (2) years plus three (3) one-year irrevocable options allowing Canada to extend the term of the contracts.
    
    CDS requirement: Only TBIPS SA Holders currently holding a TBIPS SA for Tier 2, in the National Capital Region under the EN578-170432 series of SAs that are qualified for all the resource categories listed in Appendix 4 to Annex A Statement of Work - CDS are eligible to compete for the CDS requirement.
    
    IPRMS requirement: Only TBIPS SA Holders currently holding a TBIPS SA for Tier 2, in the National Capital Region under the EN578-170432 series of SAs that are qualified for all the resource categories listed in Appendix 4 to Annex A Statement of Work - IPRMS are eligible to compete for the IPRMS requirement. 
    
    Bidders that are eligible to compete for both CDS and IPRMS requirements may bid on either or both requirements at its sole discretion. If the Bidder decides to bid on both requirements, it must prepare two (2) separate Bid packages, one for CDS and one for IPRMS.
