    Introduction
The Translation Bureau (Bureau) is a Special Operating Agency (SOA) that is part of Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC). The Bureau is responsible for providing support to the Government of Canada in its efforts to serve and inform Canadians in the official language of their choice.
The Bureau fulfills its mission by providing, among other things, interpretation services to Parliament, the judiciary and federal departments and agencies in official, foreign, Aboriginal and visual languages.
The Bureau, in collaboration with PWGSC’s Acquisitions Branch (AB), is launching an RFP process to issue contracts to qualified interpretation service providers to meet its parliamentary and conference interpretation needs in official languages.

    Bidder’s videoconference (WebEx)
A bidder’s conference will be held on March 2, 2019. The session will be from 1 pm to 3:00pm.
The response forms of the RFP will be reviewed during the session and questions will be answered. It is recommended that bidders who intend to submit a proposal attend or a representative participate in their place.
Bidders are requested to communicate with the Contracting Authority before the sessions to confirm attendance. Bidders should provide, in writing, to the Contracting Authority, the name(s) of the person(s).
