TRANSLATION SERVICES FROM ENGLISH TO FRENCH FOR THE FIELD OF GENERAL AND ADMINISTRATIVE TEXTS

The services are required for an initial period of one (1) year from the date of award with two (2) irrevocable option periods to extend the contract by one (1) year.

Requirement Details 
 
TENDERING PROCEDURE:  SELECTIVE TENDERING 
 
This bid solicitation is issued only to suppliers who are pre-qualified in the field of General and Administrative Texts, from English to French, for approximately 7,500,000 words, in accordance with the conditions of Supply Arrangement EN966-1403053 of the Translation Bureau’s Directory of Translation Services suppliers.  
 
 
Nature of texts to be translated 
Corporate documents on topics such as: 
 
• The running and operation of the Government of Canada’s departments and agencies, as well as their internal and external communications, policies and programs 
• The Government of Canada’s products and services for Canadians and others 
• Co-operation between the Government of Canada’s departments and agencies 
• Co-operation of the Government of Canada with provincial, municipal and regional governments and Canadian Aboriginal people, as well as with foreign governments, entities and individuals 
 
The translation style required is usually administrative. 
Security requirements: There is no security requirement associated with this bid solicitation.

Request for Proposal (RFP) documents will be e-mailed directly from the Contracting Authority to the Qualified Supply Arrangement Holders who are being invited to bid on this requirement.
