    BID SOLICITATION
    
    Closed Captioning and Visual Interpretation Service (Translation Bureau) within Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC), requires on an as and when requested basis, visual interpretation services from English to ASL and from ASL to English
    
    This bid solicitation contains security requirements.
    
    The Translation Bureau is looking for suppliers capable of providing visual interpretation services.
    
    There are four (4) different requirements associated with this bid solicitation. Bidders may bid on all of the requirements.
    Requirement # 1 is for up to 900hours that the Contracting Authority may fulfill in part or in its entirety by the awarding of one (1) or two (2) contracts, each up to 450 hours, as follows: up to 225 hours over a one-year initial period and up to 225 hours over a one-year option period.  As described in part 4 - Evaluation Procedures and Basis of Selection, if several bids are ranked equally it is possible that more than 2 contracts will be awarded for requirement # 1.
    
    Requirement # 2 is for up to 400 hours that the Contracting Authority may fulfill in part or in its entirety by the awarding of one (1) contract, as follows: up to 200 hours over a one-year initial period and up to 200 hours over a one-year option period. As described in part 4 - Evaluation Procedures and Basis ofSelection, if several bids are ranked equally it is possible that more than 1 contract will be awarded for requirement # 2.
    
    Requirement # 3 is for up to 2400 hours that the Contracting Authority may fulfill in part or in its entirety by the awarding of one (1), two (2), three (3) or four (4)contracts, each up to 600 hours, as follows: up to 300 hours over a one-year initial period and up to 300 hours over a one-year option period. As described in part 4 - Evaluation Procedures and Basis of Selection, if several bids are ranked equally it is possible that more than 4 contracts will be awarded for requirement # 3.
    
    Requirement # 4 is for up to 1740 hours that the Contracting Authority may fulfill in part or in its  entirety by the awarding of one (1), two (2) or three (3) contracts, each up to 580 hours, as follows: up to 290 hours over a one-year initial period and up to 290 hours over a one-year option period. As described in part 4 - Evaluation Procedures and Basis of Selection, if several bidsare ranked equally it is possible that more than 3 contracts will be awarded for requirement # 4.
    
    The period of all resulting contracts will be one (1) year from April 1, 2016 to March 31, 2017.  All resulting contracts will include one option to extend the contract period by one year underthe same conditions.
    
    This requirement is subject to the provisions of the Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT).
