The notice amendment no.4 is to extend the closing date of the Request for Proposal to April 24th, 2020 The notice amendment no. 3 is to publish the Epost connect participant guide et le Request for Proposal Submission Checklist. The notice amendment no. 2 is to modify the Procurement Strategy to: Best Overall Proposal. The notice amendment no. 1 is to add the word version of annexes E and F. The Bureau is a Special Operating Agency (SOA) that is part of Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC). The Bureau is responsible for providing support to the Government of Canada in its efforts to serve and inform Canadians in the official language of their choice. The Bureau, in collaboration with PWGSC’s Acquisitions Branch (AB), is launching an RFP process to issue contracts to qualified interpretation service providers to meet its parliamentary and conference interpretation needs in official languages. This solicitation consists of two services: - Conference Interpretation: refers to conference interpretation services for general events which may attract media coverage, involve high-ranking people in Canada or abroad or be of a technical or complex nature. - Parliamentary Interpretation: refers to Parliamentary Interpretation services for events involving the Parliament of Canada. Bidders may qualify for one or two streams. To qualify, Bidders must meet the mandatory technical criteria (Translation Bureau Accreditation) and all requirements in the RFP. To respond to the RFP, Bidders must download the RFP on GETS. The Contract will be valid from July 1, 2020 to June 30th 2021. Security requirements: The work may include security requirements at various levels. Canada requests that bidders indicate the security clearance of all proposed resources. Bidders must provide this information on the Bid Solicitation Form in Annex E - Response Form. A minimum security clearance at the Secret level is mandatory for Parliamentary Interpretation Services prior to the issuance of a contract. If your company is to be sponsored, it is suggested that suppliers send a request as soon as possible by email to the Contracting Authority. For more information on personnel and agency security screening, bidders should consult the Public Works and Government Services Canada Contract Security Program website (https://www.tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca/esc-src/introduction-eng.html). Bidder’s videoconference (WebEx) A bidders' conference will be held via WebEx videoconference on Saturday, March 28, 2020. The conference will run from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. EST. Bidders may participate in person, however space is limited. The scope of the requirement described in the solicitation will be reviewed during the conference and answers to questions will be provided. Bidders intending to submit a bid are recommended to participate or send a representative. Bidders are requested to contact the Contracting Authority prior to the conference to confirm their attendance. Bidders should provide the Contracting Authority, in writing, with the name(s) of the person(s) who will be attending the conference as well as any questions they may have.
