    Mental Health Training
    
    To provide evidence-based mental health training for general audience and responders across Canada in both of Canada’s official languages.
    
    The Offeror must provide a mental health training program that will:
    - Address and reduce the stigma associated with mental illness in the workplace; 
    - Enable managers/supervisors to better support employees with a mental illness; 
    - Increase resiliency and providing coping strategies;
    - Improve the overall awareness of mental health in the workplace;
    - Increase the overall understanding of mental illness and mental health through a common set of tools and language;
    - Promote help seeking, which increases the likelihood that mental health concerns will be addressed in a timely manner, minimizing the costs associated with absenteeism, presenteeism and turnover;
    - Enable Canada to acquire training materials, including for the purpose of usage of intellectual property for training conducted by Canada, that are meaningful for both responders and general audience employed by Canada; and 
    - Enable Canada internally trained trainers to deliver the training and use the materials. 
     
    The period for making call-ups against the Standing Offer is from date of issuance for a period of two years with an irrevocable option to extend the term of the Standing Offer by up to three additional one-year periods.
    
    The requirement is subject to the provisions of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) and the Agreement on Internal Trade(AIT).
