Trade Agreement: WTO-AGP/NAFTA/AIT/Canada FTAs with Peru/Colombia/Panama Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Competitive Procurement Strategy: Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: Technical Data Maintenance Services The Department of National Defense has a requirement to have technical data packages prepared, revised, accepted and documented in one and/or both of Canada’s official languages on an "as and when requested" basis,in support of Configuration Management, Procurement, Cataloguing and Documentation Control Activities. The Contractor must provide an Intermediate Project Manager, a Drafting Checker, up to two Senior Draftspersons’, a Junior Technical Clerk, a LeadTranslator and up to two Translators. The contract period will be from date of Contract to March 31, 2020 with the irrevocable option to extend the contract by two periods of one-year each. The requirement is subject to the provisions of the WorldTrade Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP), North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) and the Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT). There are security requirements associated with this requirement. For additional information, consult Part 6 - Security, Financial and Other Requirements, and Part 7 - Resulting Contract Clauses. For more information on personnel and organization security screening or security clauses, bidders should refer to Industrial Security Program, of PWGSC(http://ssi-iss.tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca/index-eng.html) website. The resulting contract is not to be used for the deliveries within a Comprehensive Land Claims Settlement Area (CLCSA). All requirements for delivery within a CLCSA are to be processed individually. This procurement is subject to the Controlled Goods Program. The Defence Production Act (http://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/eng/acts/d-1/) defines Canadian Controlled Goods as certain goods listed in Canada’s Export Control List, a regulation made pursuant to the Export and Import Permits Act (EIPA). In order to prepare a bid in response to the bid solicitation, suppliers must have access to information. The Supplier must contact the Contracting Authority by e-mail to obtain a copy of the information on CD/DVD. The Supplier must provide the contact name, legal name or business name (if different from legal name), mailing address, telephone number and e-mail address. Delivery Date: Above-mentioned The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
