The Materiel Group serves the Department of National Defence
(DND) and the Canadian Forces (CF) as a central service provider
and functional authority for all defence materiel and equipment
programs. The Group manages equipment through its entire life
cycle, beginning with initial concept, moving through
procurement, maintenance and support and ending with disposal.
The Group is also responsible for defence materiel liaison and
coordination with other departments, governments and
interdepartmental organizations. DGMPD (Air) and DGMPD (Land &
Sea) (L&S)are responsible for the acquisition of major new
equipment linked to the CF transformation.

The goal of DGMPD (Air) & DGMPD (L&S)is to focus attention on
new capital equipment projects in support of Defence priorities
such as the Canada First Defence Strategy, and to consolidate
their management.

The period of the Contract is from date of Contract award until
31 March 2017 with an irrevocable option to extend the term of
the Contract by up to three (3) additional one-year periods.

This procurement is subject to the Controlled Goods Program.

This Bid Solicitation is issued against the Task and Solutions
Professional Services Supply Arrangement (TSPS SA), Public Works
and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) File No.
E60ZN-13TSPS-SAA, all terms and conditions of the TSPS SA apply
and shall be incorporated into any resulting contract. The
requirement described herein is open only to PWGSC TSPS
Pre-qualified suppliers in the following TSPS SA Streams: 

	- Stream 5 - Technical Engineering and Maintenance Services
(TEMS) 

This requirement is covered under the North American Free Trade
Agreement (NAFTA), Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT) and World
Trade Organization Agreement on Government Opportunities
(WTO-AGP).
