The Director Naval Platform Systems, DNPS 6-3, as the design
and/or technical authority for Ship's Steering system and
Lifting system, provides life cycle management services for
equipment under section control. The Contractor must support the
Technical Authority (TA) by providing logistic support to assist
section Life Cycle Material Managers (LCMMs). The Contractor is
to provide a range of technical support to the Technical
Authority (TA), for Ship's Steering system and for Lifting
system on-board and specific to Canadian naval vessel equipment.

The period of the Contract is from date of Contract award until
two (2) years from date of Contract award with an irrevocable
option to extend the term of the Contract by up to three (3)
additional one-year periods.

This Bid Solicitation is issued against the Task and Solutions
Professional Services Supply Arrangement (TSPS SA), Public Works
and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) File No.
E60ZN-13TSPS-SAA, all terms and conditions of the TSPS SA apply
and shall be incorporated into any resulting contract. The
requirement described herein is open only to PWGSC TSPS
Pre-qualified suppliers in the following TSPS SA Streams: 

	- Stream 5 - Technical Engineering and Maintenance Services
(TEMS) 

This requirement is covered under the North American Free Trade
Agreement (NAFTA), Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT) and World
Trade Organization Agreement on Government Opportunities
(WTO-AGP).
