Trade Agreement: NONE Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Competitive Procurement Strategy: Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONSISTING OF PSYCHOLOGICAL ASSESSMENT SERVICES Canada Border Services Agency has a requirement for commercial professional services consisting of Psychological assessment services. The period of the Contract will be from date of contract award to March 31, 2019 with the option to extend by up to three (3) additional one year periods. The work will be performed across Canada. The Contractor must provide: a) Management and Coordination of Psychological Assessment Services; b) Registered Clinical Psychologists to conduct the following Psychological Assessments on an ’as and when requested basis’’ at various locations: i) Psychological readiness of officer candidates to carry a duty firearm, other defensive equipment andsuitability to work in a law enforcement environment; ii) Psychological readiness of existing CBSA employees to carry a duty firearm and other defensive equipment; iii) Psychological fitness for the return of the duty firearm and/or defensive equipment following removal for non-administrative reasons; iv) Evaluation of armed officers for substance abuse, recovery and/or sobriety management, as detailed in section; and v) Readiness to resume or continue full armed duties following involvement in a critical incident or firearm discharge on duty/traumatic event. c) A Senior Clinical Psychologist to deliver and manage the Psychological Assessment Services; and d) Offices to conduct Psychological Assessment Services. The requirement is limited to Canadian goods and/or services. There are security requirements associated with this requirement. The requirement is not subject to the provisions of the World Trade Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP), the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), and the Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT). The Federal Contractors Program (FCP) for employment equity applies to this procurement.
