Description
La Société de télédiffusion du Québec (Télé-Québec ou STQ) est une télévision publique d’expression française soumise à la politique de sous-titrage codé pour malentendants (avis public CRTC 2007-54, 17 mai 2007). Dans cet avis, le CRTC stipule que les télédiffuseurs sont tenus de sous-titrer 100% des émissions qu’ils diffusent au cours de la journée de radiodiffusion. De plus, conformément à Accessibilité des services de télécommunication et de radiodiffusion, politique réglementaire de radiodiffusion et de télécom CRTC 2009-430, 21 juillet 2009, le titulaire doit veiller à ce que la promo de langue française soit sous-titrée. En ce qui a trait à la qualité du sous-titrage codé, la STQ doit se conformer aux exigences établies à l’annexe de Normes de qualité du sous-titrage codé de langue française - Application, surveillance et le mandat futur du Groupe de travail sur le sous-titrage de langue française, politique réglementaire de radiodiffusion CRTC 2011-741-1, 21 février 2012, compte tenu des modifications successives.
