    Description

    This Request for Supplier Qualifications (RFSQ) is an invitation by the Government of Saskatchewan (GOS) to prospective Respondents to provide responses to be included on prequalified list of suppliers, in accordance with evaluation of Responses (Part 2). The prequalified suppliers must be able to provide an operating lease for various types of Earth Moving Equipment and Attachments, on an “if and when required” basis, as further described in Appendix A – RFSQ Particulars.

    The equipment’s primary use is for Ministry of Highways (MoH) culvert maintenance, drainage issues and digging out road failures.
    MoH requires earth moving equipment such as steel track excavators with a variety of attachments. These may include but not limited to;

    • General-duty toothed bucket
    • Smooth cleanout/landscaping bucket
    • Hydraulic thumb, 3 or 4 tooth
    • Rock ripper/shank

    As a result of this competition, prequalified suppliers will be invited to bid in the second-stage process. With each award of the second-stage process, MoH expects to enter into a 60 month (5 year), 500 hours per year lease agreement with the Successful Respondent. However, MoH may consider other leasing terms. If funds become available, MoH may choose to purchase the Earth Moving Equipment and Attachments prior to the end of the term.
