    Description

    This Request for Bid (RFB) is an invitation by the Government of Saskatchewan (GOS), Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency (SPSA), “the Agency”, to prospective Proponents to provide Submissions for the provision of two (2) Medium Helicopters and aircrew for wildfire management.

    Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency (SPSA) requires helicopter aviation services, two (2) helicopters and aircrew at various locations, including remote locations with or adjacent to the provincial forest, to commence with the 2023 fire season.

    The SPSA requires the use and service of the helicopter, complete with qualified operators and ground support and maintenance, to assist in firefighting services in the Province of Saskatchewan.

    The following aircraft required to conduct these services are as follows:

    • Two (2) medium helicopters for a three (3) year term with an annual minimum 100-day contract, with 250 hours guaranteed.

    Please note: The guaranteed hours are averaged over the full length of the Contract.

     

     


    Additional Information


    The intent of this RFB is to enter into two (2) separate Contracts with up to two (2) proponent(s).

    If a proponent would like to apply for both Contracts, please submit separate submissions detailing the helicopter and aircrew that will be allocated for each Contract.
