LFRFP 230063, Passing Lane Work on Highway 16
The Saskatchewan Ministry of Highways (Ministry) is planning the construction of passing lanes on Highway No. 16. The Ministry requires engineering services for the following:
- Passing Lane Positioning study to determine the precise location of passing lanes;
- Detailed design and tender package preparation of the passing lanes following the study, including any access consolidation along the corridor to accommodate safe operation of the passing lanes, and any intersection improvements identified in the study;
- The Consultant shall prepare ONE (1) positioning study report, ONE (1) detailed design report and TWO (2) tender packages.
Specific project details are defined as:
- 9 sets of passing lanes are planned on Highway 16 from Springside to Dafoe spanning over CS 16-14, 16-15, 16-16, and 16-17, for a total of 18 passing lanes.
