The proposals for the Business Modernization program are aimed at enhancing customer service and operational efficiency in its four key risk management programs: Crop Insurance, AgriStability, Wildlife Damage Compensation, and Livestock Price Insurance. This transformation strategy focuses on improving customer interaction through digital platforms, ensuring long-term resilience and adaptability in the Saskatchewan agricultural economy, and maintaining a high-performing organizational culture. The initiative is driven by the need to replace outdated, customized legacy systems that limit service efficiency and data management, and to adapt to the changing agricultural landscape marked by increased risks and technological advancements. SCIC's goal is to become the most trusted agricultural risk management partner in Canada, offering streamlined, data-driven services to better serve its producers.
