Description
The City of Saskatoon requires engineering services for the preliminary design, detailed design, tendering, and construction administration of a new overpass. The overpass will be located on 8th Street at the Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC) rail crossing.
The scope of work for the new structure may include, but is not limited to, the following:
- Review of background information
- Field investigations
- Undertaking the preliminary design of the overpass, grade raise, MSE walls, and soundwalls
- Stakeholder engagement (e.g., CPKC and City departments)
- Completing the detailed design of the selected overpass option
- Completing the detailed design of a temporary bypass road to be used during construction
- Preparing the construction tender documents
- Providing engineering services during tendering and construction
- Providing post-construction services
