    DESCRIPTION OF GOOD(S)

    The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) is seeking a wire-free nonradioactive tissue localization solution for breast lesions.  This solution will include equipment and consumables as outlined in this document (the Product). 

    The product must allow the SHA to preform non-radioactive, wire free breast localizations decoupling imaging and surgery schedules to improve efficiencies within the province resulting in improved patient outcomes. The product will be used within all SHA facilities in the province performing breast lesion localization procedures.

    The conversion is being phased provincially.  Phase 1 to include hospital facilities in Regina and Saskatoon (placement and surgery in up to 2 ORs each) as well as Moose Jaw and Prince Albert (placement and/or surgery to be determined).  Phase 2 - other hospitals will be brought on as required.

    Contract duration

    The estimated contract period will be 60 month(s).
