Description
Consultant for Engineering, Design and Advisory Services for the Westside Irrigation Rehabilitation Project:
This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Water Security Agency (WSA) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for the provision of consulting services for the Westside Irrigation Rehabilitation Project.
The Consultant, directed by the Owner, will be responsible for completing the engineering fieldwork and design of the Westside Irrigation Rehabilitation Project (WIRP). The scope of the design study is limited to the optimization of existing and development of new infrastructure with anticipated potential to provide approximately 90,000 irrigable acres and extends from Lake Diefenbaker to the Ardath-Swanson area. This design effort will complete the planning, technical, and financial analyses required to establish and execute a sound implementation plan for the Project for use by decision-makers as the Project moves forward.
The Consultant may also be asked to provide advisory services to the Owner on an as-needed basis in a number of areas, including added effort related to various engagement activities, regulatory and permitting tasks, coordinating utility and land activities, as well as identify components of the project that are time sensitive or less constrained in the schedule that could be part of an early works package for detailed design, advanced procurement and/or construction.
