    Description
    AMENDMENT TO CLOSING TIME: Please disregard the Ariba Discovery posting response deadline closing time and Buyandsell posting closing time. All required supporting documentation and bid submission must be submitted on January 25, 2022 by 14:00 MST. All bids submitted after 14:00 MST will result in the bid being declared non-responsive. The Department of Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) requires a portable heater for high arctic weather operations in Eureka, Nunavut. The portable heater will be used during winter to provide external heat to the aircraft from the ground level by keeping the aircraft warm during the parked time on the runway. The portable heater will also be used to supply heat in the garage and warehouse in Eureka and as a standby heating unit in an emergency. The portable heater will be delivered to Burlington, Ontario, and ECCC will ship it to Eureka, Nunavut through sealift. This requirement is limited to Inuit Firms on the Inuit Firm Registry (IFR).
