GC E-Commerce for the Receiver General for Canada

All RFI responses must be submitted by February 18 at 14:00EDT. An Industry Engagement Information Session is scheduled for January 14, 2022. Participants must submit the Registration Form by January 5, 2022. This is the Request for Information (RFI) pertaining to the GC E-Commerce Procurement for the Receiver General for Canada, a new enterprise offering proposed by the Receiver General for Canada (RG) aiming to improve e-commerce capabilities across the Government of Canada. Multiple RFIs may be issued before moving on to the next stage. REQUIREMENT DETAILS The Receiver General for Canada (RG) is exploring the possibility of creating centralized e-commerce offerings in response to the growing desire of Canadians to transact with government online and to solve some of the challenges the GC faces with e-commerce today. The RG envisions a single platform that could be used across the government that can be built upon over time to capitalize on opportunities as they arise. The GC E-Commerce project comprises two concepts which will be delivered in two phases: GC PayGate and GC Store.
