The Department of National Defence (DND) launched the Innovation for Defence Excellence and Security (IDEaS) Program in 2018 challenging Innovators to develop solutions to emerging defence and security Challenges. This program supports innovative technology, knowledge, and problem solving which are critical for Canada and its allies to mitigate new threats, stay ahead of potential adversaries, and meet evolving defence and security needs.IDEaS is looking to obtain services from an external supplier on an as and when required basis to plan, develop, organize, administer, and coordinate different events associated with any of the Program’s activities, such as but not limited to Test Events.
