REQUIREMENT: As part of Canada’s initiative to reduce its environmental footprint at its foreign properties abroad, Global Affairs Canada is seeking services of a contractor to design, supply, install, and commission a non-anchored rooftop utility-interactive solar photovoltaic (PV) system at the Permanent Mission of Canada to the World Trade Organization in Geneva, Switzerland.
SITE VISIT: There will be a mandatory site visit Sept 25, 2019. Global Affairs Canada will not reimburse travel expenses for bidders to attend the site visit. Please confirm your attendance five (5) calendar days ahead with the Contracting Authority: Dale Rudderham, by email at realproperty-contracts@international.gc.ca.
INQUIRIES: All enquiries of a technical nature and all questions of a contractual nature, are to be submitted to the Contracting Authority: Dale Rudderham, by email at realproperty-contracts@international.gc.ca.
Inquiries are to be made in writing and should be received not less than five (5) calendar days prior to the closing date to allow sufficient time to respond.
TENDER DOCUMENTS:All general conditions are stated in the draft contract supplied as part of this tender. Firms intending to submit tenders on this project should obtain tender documents through the Government Electronic Tendering Service (GETS) web site at https://buyandsell.gc.ca/procurement-data/tenders. Addenda, when issued, will be available on the GETS web site. Firms that elect to base their bids on tender documents obtained from other sources do so at their own risk and will be solely responsible to inform the tender calling authority of their intention to bid.
The Crown reserves the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
Drawings and Specifications are now available for viewing and downloading in a Portable Document Format (PDF).
