Sealed, signed tenders will be received up to 2:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time: August 31, 2015 for the attached construction services in accordance with the documents enclosed. The onus is on the bidder to ensure that the bid is delivered on time to the location designated. The bidder is required to supply with their bid: • Proof of Insurance • Proof of an account in good standing with Provincial Workers Compensation Board/Commission (only required if company has 3 or more employees). • Proof of registration as licensed petroleum installer with the New Brunswick Department of Environment. Any tender received after the above noted time will be considered late and will be returned to the sender unopened. Nature of the Work: The work covered under this project consists of installation of a new 13,640 L above ground horizontal double-walled, stainless steel vacuum storage tank, installation of a new Jet A1 aviation fuel-dispensing cabinet and associated stainless steel pipe, value and fittings, a new concrete tank pad, complete with product transfer area spill containment system, signage and fire extinguishers, in strict accordance with specifications and accompanying drawings and subject to all terms and conditions of Contract. Location of Work, Work site and Delivery Point: The site is located on the Canadian Coast Guard Base, 5 Peter’s Wharf, Saint John, New Brunswick. Start Date: Upon Contract Award Completion Date: All work to be completed within 14 weeks from contract award date. Security Requirements: No Requirement Bidders should note that all questions regarding this request for proposals must be submitted in writing, No Later Than August 26, 2015, 2 pm (14:00 Hours) EASTERN DAYLIGHT TIME to the contract authority.
