    NOTICE OF PROPOSED PROCUREMENT

    The Department of National Defence (DND) has a requirement for the items detailed below:

    Item 1:
    GSIN: N1305 – Ammunition, through 30 mm
    UNSPSC: 46101601 – Defence or law enforcement ammunition

    Description: Cartridge 12 Gauge Shotgun 2 ¾ Inch, Rifled Slug, 1 Oz

    The requirement is for the supply to the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) of Cartridge 12 Gauge Shotgun 2 ¾ Inch, Rifled Slug, 1 oz Ammunition. The cartridge is used with the Shotgun 12 GA Remington Model 870P for animal control and the Benelli M-4 Super 90 for Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD).

    Quantity: 300,000 cartridges – Delivery to Canadian Forces Ammunition Depot (CFAD) Dundurn, Saskatchewan on or before 01 March 2025

    500,000 cartridges – Delivery to CFAD Angus, Milton, Ontario on or before 01 March 2025

    Unit of Issue: Each, per cartridge

    This procurement may be subject to the Controlled Goods Program

    3. The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
