    Description

    Notice of Proposed Procurement (NPP)

*****The closing date of this solicitation has been changed to September 1, 2023 at 2:00 PM EST.

The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) requires, as and when requested, services of up to two (2) Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) Consultants – Senior to work and assist in the deliverables in support of the Travellers Business and Information Framework (TBIF) team of the Travellers Transformation Directorate.

The objective is to acquire resources that have the expertise in the enterprise and business architecture area to guide and support the Travellers Branch to further develop and maintain the TBIF and to use it to advance the Agency’s Traveller Modernization (TM) initiative and related projects.

The CBSA is undertaking an initiative called Traveller Modernization (TM), which proposes a transition from the CBSA’s current service delivery model predicated on in-person interactions with travellers, to a digital self-service model with many transactions being accessible before an incoming traveller reaches a port of entry (POE).

The focus of this Statement of Work is to build upon the efforts that led to the creation of the Travellers Business and Information Framework (TBIF), continue enhancing and expanding the framework, fill the existing gaps within the TBIF, and fully integrate it into the Project Management Framework (PMF) used within CBSA, with the goal of improving the integration of the business of Travellers Branch with its core capabilities including business processes, information and other technologies.
