    Description

    The Request for Proposal is for the provision of National Institute of Occupational Health and Safety (NIOSH) certified half-mask respirator designed to provide respiratory protection due to inhalation of particulate contaminants resulting primarily from explosive gunfire residue. This includes both oil and non-oil based contaminants such as lead, asbestos, fentanyl and lubricant mist. The respirator must permit wearing with and without a helmet, and must integrate seamlessly with in-service equipment including helmets (both ballistic and bump-caps with and without night vision devices and battery packs installed), eye protection and over the ear hearing protective devices (e.g., 3MTM Peltor). The resulting Standing Offer Agreement will be for three (3) years with the option to extend for two (2) additional one (1) year periods. The Bidder must supply and deliver the Lightweight Respirator Masks as specified in the Individual call-up(s) against the Standing Offer Agreement.

    NOTICE: This bid solicitation cancels and supersedes previous bid solicitation number W6399-24LO84/A dated 15 November 2023 with a closing of 05 January 2024 at 2:00pm EST. A debriefing or feedback session will be provided upon request to bidders/offerors/suppliers who bid on the previous solicitation.

    The estimated contract period will be 36 month(s), with a proposed start date of 2024/05/06.
