HARD COPY BID SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Bids must be submitted and received by the Region no later than 1:00:00 p.m., local time as established by the Research Council of Canada.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE WORK The Region requires design, construction administration, and site inspection services for the York Central Water Facility Upgrades, as further set out in Appendix A - Particutlars (the ‘Deliverables’).
VIRTUAL MEETING: Bidders are invited to attend a non-mandatory information meeting to be held on April 18, 2024 via Microsoft Teams, commencing at 1:00 p.m. Eastern Time. All attendees are required to contact Sue Eves, sue.eves@york.ca or Denise French, denise.french@york.ca to request access to the Bidders’ Meeting. All bidders are encouraged to submit any questions to the Region using the ‘Submit a Question’ feature in the Bidding Website, a minimum of three (3) Business Days before or after the information meeting. The Region will respond to all formal questions as an addendum to form part of this RFPQ The deadline for submitting questions is five business days before closing.
SITE MEETING: A site tour of eight facilities, excluding meter chambers, is scheduled for Tuesday, May 7, 2024, from 9 AM to 1 PM, Holland Landing West Elevated Tank -19141 Highway 11, East Gwillimbury, is the first meet-up location, the follow by the locations in this link, https://maps.app.goo.gl/C81ns4xdYw9wgVfZA.
It is recommended that the proponent submits questions regarding the operational aspects of each site prior to the site tour.
Safety shoes and vest are required.
The Region will ONLY accept ELECTRONIC BID SUBMISSIONS submitted through the Region’s Bids and Tenders website for this RFP.
