Public Sector Collection and Distribution (PSCD) Expert Analyst

To acquire the services of one (1) SAP PSCD Expert Analyst I to lead the implementation of SAP PSCD as part of the overall implementation of SAP PSCD tool.


The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) Border Action Plan provides a practical road map for speeding up legitimate trade and travel across the Canada-U.S. border, while enhancing security.

Under the Border Action Plan is the Canada Border Services Agency Assessment and Revenue Management (CARM) project. The goal of the CARM project is to modernize the CBSA’s revenue management structure and trade programs. CARM will address a number of problems in an effort to streamline processes and improve revenue management reporting and accountability; and client service.

In modernizing the CBSA’s revenue management structure, the CARM project seeks to replace and/or modify more than 20 aging legacy systems, built on a variety of platforms in a variety of application languages. The CARM project is a major Crown project which is to be phased in over a period of approximately 9 years, ending in 2021.

A major initiative within the CARM project is the SAP Accounts Receivable Ledger (ARL) group which is taking on an implementation of SAP PSCD.
The SAP PSCD Expert Analyst will provide the following:
•    Working in a collaborative team analyzing client issues and developing solutions
•    Prioritizing objectives and contribute to project planning and status reporting
•    Providing hands on implementation and configuration of the various components of SAP
•    Providing input and advice regarding SAP capabilities and functions 
•    Building positive client and peer relationships by developing an understanding of customer's business and project scope
•    Developing analytical and insightful recommendations to meet deliverable targets and complete project tasks within budget 
•    Identifying assignment conflicts or issues 

All work will be done in the NCR, 171 Slater Street, Vanguard Building, 7th floor, Ottawa, Ontario.
