Description
Background PHAC will move laboratory equipment currently located in Ottawa over a period of up to 12 months. The Contractor will be required to pack, load and transport the equipment from Ottawa to Winnipeg, most equipment being fragile laboratory equipment, and PHAC will take care of unloading it at the Winnipeg location. Scope of Work An Equipment summary list is provided as Appendix A to this Statement of Work (SOW). Although not final, this list shows the approximate quantities and types of equipment PHAC intends to relocate and have the Contractor manage. A final list will be supplied at contract award. Minimum Requirements Proposers must meet all the mandatory requirements described below. This will be evaluated as either “Yes” or “No”. Proposals not receiving “Yes” for any mandatory requirement will not be considered further. M1 Fast pass (In possession of a valid pass issued by CBSA) M2 Minimum # of years’ experience for staff • Five (5) Year for Project Manager, • Two (2) years for Site supervisor, • One (1) year for labourers M3 Air-ride equipped transporters with fully enclosed roll up doors Selection Process The selection process is a one-stage competitive process wherein Proponents are invited to respond to this RFP and submit information relating to mandatory requirements, technical and price proposals. The proposals will be evaluated and scored as described within the RFP documents. Should Her Majesty elect to proceed with the project, the Proponent with the proposal ranked best value will be invited to enter into a contract for the required services. In case of discrepancies between this Notice and the Request for Proposals (RFP) documents, the RFP documents shall take precedence. Note The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada
