    Description
    The Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) wishes to enter into two (2) contracts with a vendor(s) (hereafter referred to as the “proponent”); one (1) for the provision of English-French translation, editing, concordance check and proofreading services (Stream 1) and one (1) for the provision of French-English translation, editing, concordance check and proofreading services (Stream 2), on an as requested basis. CMHC may require other miscellaneous ad hoc work from time to time throughout the life of the contract resulting from this RFP. The work would fall under the category of linguistic services but would not necessarily be for translation, revision, concordance check and proofreading services.
    	
    Each contract shall be for a period of two (2) years with an optional renewal period of one (1) year, not to exceed a cumulative total of three (3) years including the initial term. The total budget for both contracts including miscellaneous ad hoc work is not expected to exceed $1,140,000.
