    Description
    The National Capital Commission (NCC) is seeking tenders for the delivery of maintenance management services for Greenbelt Lands – on natural and built facilities and assets, for a four (4) year period commencing April 1, 2014 as described in this ITT. 
    
    The scope of work will include the year-round maintenance of assets including hiking trails, boardwalks and footbridges, trailhead parking lots and recreational pathways. The NCC will provide the planning and management function of this important natural and cultural area in the National Capital Region. Together, the NCC and the successful bidder will work to maintain a high standard of service excellence for the Greenbelt.
    
    Tenderers are invited to attend at their cost, a non-mandatory bidder’s conference and site visit which will be start at 9:00 a.m. Ottawa time on December 4, 2013, for further details please refer to section 7.1 of the tender documents.
    
    To be considered, your tender must be received no later than 3 p.m. Ottawa time on December 13, 2013 at the National Capital Commission, 3rd Floor Service Centre, 40 Elgin Street in Ottawa, Canada, K1P 1C7, with a reference to tender file #NG247. 
    
    Faxed, email or late submissions will not be accepted.
    
    There is a public opening scheduled for December 13, 2013 in room 306 at 40 Elgin Street in Ottawa, Ontario shortly after 3 p.m.
    
    Enquiries regarding this tender must be submitted in writing as early as possible within the solicitation period to the Senior Contract Officer, Nicole Galipeau by email at nicole.galipeau@ncc-ccn.ca or by facsimile at 613-239-5007, and the telephone number is 613-239-5678 ext. 5191. Enquiries should be received no later than seven (7) calendar days prior to the date set for solicitation closing to allow sufficient time to provide a response. Enquiries received after that time may result in an answer not being provided. To ensure consistency and quality of the information provided to Bidders, the Senior Contract Officer shall examine the content of the enquiry and shall decide whether or not to issue an amendment. All enquiries and other communications related to this tender sent throughout the solicitation period are to be directed ONLY to the Senior Contract Officer named above. Non-compliance with this requirement during the solicitation period can, for that reason alone, result in disqualification of a tender.
    
    Note that amounts quoted in this RFP are in Canadian dollars. Payment is net is 30 days.
