    Notice of Proposed Procurement
    Item Required: CAP, CLOTH, OFFICER’S
    The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) has a requirement for a firm quantity of two hundred and twenty-two (222) Caps, Cloth, Officer’s. (180 with Gold Peaks, 30 with 1-Row Maple Leaf and 12 with 2-Row Maple Leaf)  
    
    Additionally, there is an “as and when requested” quantity of up to fifty (50) Specials (made-to-measure) Caps, Cloth, Officer’s which can be ordered within 36 months of contract award.
    
    There is also an “as and when requested” quantity of up to fifty (50) regular sized Caps, Cloth, Officer’s (Flexible Stock), which can be ordered within 24 months of contract award
    
    All quantities are to be delivered to Ottawa, Ontario. The firm quantity is requested to be delivered 45 calendar days following the approval of the pre-production sample. 
    The requirement is to be supplied in accordance with RCMP Specification G.S. 1045-160 dated 2013-10-17 and viewing sample, this can be found attached to the RFP. 
    
    The RCMP Viewing Sample will only be available to bidders requested to submit a pre-award sample
    
    This requirement is subject to AIT, but is exempt from NAFTA, and WTO-AGP, FSC 84.
    This requirement is conditionally limited to Canadian goods.
    
    A contract will be awarded to the bidder with the lowest priced, technically compliant proposal. The evaluation of price will be established using the firm, specials and flexible stock quantities.
    
    Government available material must be purchased for this requirement at the cost stated in the RFP document.
     
    The Crown reserves the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
