Banff Legacy Trail Flood Damage Repairs

Parks Canada Agency requires a general contractor to reconstruct a section of the Banff Legacy Trail along the Trans Canada Highway in Banff National Park. The work consists of armouring the floodway bank adjacent to the trail in accordance with the attached drawings and specifications.  
Closing Date: May 22, 2014; 2:00 pm (MDT)

There will be a site visit on May 14, 2014 at 10:00AM. Interested bidders are to meet at Operations Compound, 100 Hawk Avenue, Banff, Alberta. 

The site visit for this project is MANDATORY.  The representative of the bidder will be required to sign the Site Visit Attendance Sheet at the site visit. Bids submitted by Bidders who have not signed the attendance sheet will not be accepted.

National Parks Regulations require that all work is to be performed in accordance with the ordinances, laws, rules and regulations set out in the National Park Act.

Bidders that consider themselves qualified to provide this Work and intend to submit bids on this project should obtain documents from the Government Electronic Tendering Service through the Government of Canada tendering service at www.buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders. Addenda, when issued, will be available from the Government of Canada tendering service. Bidders that elect to base their bids on documents obtained from other sources do so at their own risk. Late submissions will not be considered.

Standard Terms and Conditions for this procurement are incorporated by reference into, and form part of the Tender and Contract Documents. 
Delivery Date: The Work must be completed on or before 30 July 2014.
