Description
There is a need for National guidance in the best practices for ASD assessment.  Presently in Canada a variety of tools are used to provide a diagnosis of ASD.  Some of the tools are very labour intensive and requite specialized training to utilize.  Other tools are less labour intensive and may not accurately be diagnosising children on the ASD.  Clinicians in more remote areas are requesting guidance on the best practices for ASD assessments within their communities.
