Closing date and time 2015/01/09 14:00 EST

    Description
The Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) wishes to enter into a contract with a vendor(s) for the following services. As the result of a program initiated under the 2012-16 interdepartmental Program for Energy Research and Development (PERD), CMHC, Natural Resources Canada and the National Research Council are collaborating on a multi-year laboratory study to assess measures to improve the energy efficiency of wood frame wall assemblies. The study will monitor and analyze the impacts that adding progressively higher insulation levels to conventional walls have on the performance of the wall assemblies tested. To support the transfer of information from the study (that will be completed in 2015/16) to industry, CMHC will retain a consultant to create illustrative details of the six wall assemblies tested. The details and illustrations created will be annotated with details that can help ensure long-term performance. The details will be used in combination with the output from the laboratory testing to increase industry understanding of how the addition of varying insulation levels impacts the performance of wood frame wall assemblies.

The Agreement will be for a 4 month term at an anticipated value not exceeding $60,000.00 including all applicable taxes.

Responses must be received at the exact location as specified in the RFP document on or before the submission deadline of 2:00 p.m. EST, on January 9, 2015.

Please note that CMHC will not distribute solicitation documents that are posted on buyandsell.gc.ca. Suppliers must download the solicitation document and attachments directly from the tender page.
