Description
The RCMP's Uniform & Equipment Program has a requirement for a firm quantity of two thousand (2,000) long sleeve shirt, blue, special duty and two thousand seven hundred and sixty (2,760) short sleeve shirts, blue, special duty. In addition, there is an optional quantity of up to six hundred (600) long sleeve shirts, blue, special duty and up to six hundred (600) short sleeve shirts, blue, special duty which can be exercised within 12 months of contract award. There is a second optional quantity of up to six hundred (600) long sleeve shirts, blue, special duty and up to six hundred (600) short sleeve shirts, blue, special duty, which can be exercised within 24 months of contract award. This requirement also includes an "as and when requested" quantity of up to one hundred (100) made-to-measure long sleeve shirts, blue, special duty and up to hundred (100) made-to-measure short sleeve shirts, blue, special duty (specials), which can be ordered within 36 months of contract award. This requirement also includes an "as and when requested" quantity of up to three hundred (300) regular sized long sleeve shirts, blue, special duty and up to three hundred (300) regular sized short sleeve shirts, blue, special duty (flexible stock), which can be ordered within 36 months of contract award. This requirement is to be supplied in accordance with RCMP Specification G.S. 1045-306 dated 2015-04-27, and G.S. 1045-334 dated 2015-04-23, viewing samples and patterns. Specification documents can be found attached to the RFP. The RCMP Viewing Samples will only be available to bidders requested to submit a pre-contract award sample. This requirement is subject to AIT. This requirement is conditionally limited to Canadian Goods. The successful bidder will be determined based upon the lowest priced, technically compliant proposal. The Crown reserves the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada. The bid solicitation documents contain all the requirements relating to the bid solicitation. Any other information or documentation provided to or obtained by a bidder from any source are not relevant. Bidders should not assume that practices used under previous contracts will continue, unless they are described in the bid solicitation. Bidders should also not assume that their existing capabilities meet the requirements of the bid solicitation simply because they have met previous requirements. It is the Bidder's responsibility to obtain clarification of the requirements contained in the bid solicitation, if necessary, before submitting a bid.
