Title: Mt. Dennis Slope Stabilization in Yoho National Park, BC

Requirement:
During a hazard and risk assessment it was noted that a large mass of potentially unstable soil (earth slump), as evidenced by open cracks and signs of mass slope movement, existed a short distance upstream from the Village of Field, BC. Previous studies and initial field investigations have identified a significant amount of surface water running on to the instability from upslope. Parks Canada requires a contractor to intercept a large portion of the upslope run-on and divert this water around the instability to Stephen Creek. The work needs to occur as soon as possible to reduce the risk of immediate failure.

Project Timeline:
The work must be completed on or before August 24, 2015. 

Mandatory Bidders’ Teleconference:
A MANDATORY bidders' teleconference will be held on July 17, 2015. The conference will begin at 10:00AM MST. The scope of the requirement outlined in the bid solicitation will be reviewed during the mandatory teleconference and questions will be answered. It is mandatory that bidders who intend to submit a bid attend or have a representative attend.

Bidders MUST communicate with the Contracting Authority before the teleconference to confirm attendance. Call coordinates will be provided upon confirmation of attendance. Bidders should provide, in writing, to the Contracting Authority, the name(s) of the person(s) who will be attending and a list of issues they wish to table no later than July 16, 2015.
