    Forklift  Operator Training Courses
    
    This requirement is for: The Correctional Service of Canada- Corcan at Dorchester Penitentiary – medium sector, Dorchester Penitentiary – minimum sector, Springhill Institution, Nova Institution and Atlantic Institution.
    
    Trade agreement:	 Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT), World Trade Organisation-Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP), North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA)/Canada-Peru, Canada-Colombia and/or Canada-Chile Free Trade Agreements.
    
    Tendering procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid.
    
    Competitive Procurement Strategy: lowest priced compliant bid.
    
    Set-aside under the Procurement Strategy for Aboriginal Business: This procurement is not subject to any set-asides for Aboriginal Suppliers.
    
    Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: This procurement is not subject to a Comprehensive Land Claims Agreement.
    
    Security Requirements: This contract does not include security requirements.
    
    Nature of Requirements: 
    
    The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement. 
    
    The Correctional Service Canada has a requirement to provide vocational training to federally incarcerated offenders.
    
    Objectives: CORCAN intends to establish a contract for the delivery of Forklift Operator Training courses to offenders incarcerated at Federal Institutions the Atlantic region on an as needed basis.
    
    Deliverables: The Contractor must deliver Forklift courses to offenders in Federal Institutions throughout the Atlantic region. The Contractor must provide classroom support. Dates of training will be determined between the two parties. 
    The courses will be delivered in all four Atlantic Institutions and will be offered on an as needed basis. Therefore the number of courses will vary per institution.
    Successful participants must receive a wallet card/certificate bearing their name, the name of the third party training organization, the instructor, the date of the training and a renewal and/or refresher date.
    The Contractor is responsible to gather the required information from the participants/offenders in order to issue a certificate, such as their name and date of birth.  
    
    
    Expected Delivery Date: between October 13th, 2015 to October 12th, 2019.
