This requirement is for: The Correctional Service of Canada, Federal Training Center. Trade agreement: Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT) Tendering procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid. Competitive Procurement Strategy: Lowest priced compliant bid. Set-aside under the Procurement Strategy for Aboriginal Business: This procurement is not subject to any set-asides for Aboriginal Suppliers. Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: This procurement is not subject to a Comprehensive Land Claims Agreement. Security Requirements: This contract does not include security requirements. Nature of Requirements: The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement. Execute the replacement and addition of fences inside the establishment in order to delimit the different operation zones. This will allow the operations to restrict and control the inmate’s access to certain areas. The work will largely consist of the removal and the replacement of existing fence sections, as well as the addition of 8'- 0 " and 12'- 0" fence sections in order to close the different sectors. Included is the installation of 8 single swinging pedestrian gates, 6 doubles swinging gates and 2 motorized sliding gates. These motorized gates are to be connected to the workshop control in order to be manipulated from a distance. MANDATORY SITE VISIT It is mandatory that the bidder or a representative of the bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for a tour of the work site. Details of the visit and the security checks prior to the visit are contained in the solicitation document.
