    Description
    Supply of all labour, materiel, tools, equipment, transportation, accommodations and supervision necessary to complete Radon Level Mitigation in RCMP specified buildings located in Manitoba in accordance with the Invitation to Tender. 
    
    The Contractor and their staff MUST be security cleared by the RCMP prior to the Contract being awarded.  
    
    Optional Site Visits
    It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site(s). Arrangements have been made for the site visits to be held on: September 16, 2015 at: 1) 100-2 Front Street, Whitemouth, MB, at 10:00 am (example of a standard house); 2) 199 - 5th Street (Detachment), Lac du Bonnet, MB, at 12:00 noon (example of a shadow form with a basement/crawlspace); 3) 100PTH 12N (Detachment), Steinbach, MB – at 2:30 pm. September 17, 2015 at: 1) 421 Main Street (Detachment), Carberry, MB, at 10:30 am (example of a “red brick” detachment); 2) 797 Thornhill Drive (Detachment), Morden, MB, at 2:00 pm (example of a shadow form with a crawlspace).
    
    Bidders are requested to communicate with the Contracting Authority no later than 4:00 p.m. on September 11, 2015, to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend. Bidders may be requested to sign an attendance sheet. Bidders who do not attend or do not send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment but they will not be precluded from submitting a bid. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation. 
    
    The Contractor may be required to provide Contract Financial Security before award.
    
    The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
