Emmett Lake Road Resurfacing, Bruce Peninsula NP

DESCRIPTION OF WORK:

Work covered by this contract is for the re-surfacing of Emmett Lake Road from Highway 6 to Halfway Log Dump Parking Lot:

• Placement of 200mm of Granular ‘A’ for the road surface
• Provision of safer side slopes
• Replacement of culverts including the provision of new animal guards
• Provision of New Signs

October 30, 2015 at 1400 hrs (EDT)

OPTIONAL SITE VISIT:

It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for the site visit to be held at Halfway Log Dump Parking Lot, at the end of Emmett Lake Road, on Monday, OCTOBER 19, 2015. The site visit will begin at 10:00 a.m. (local time).

Bidders are requested to communicate with the Contracting Authority no later than Friday, OCTOBER 16, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. (EDT) to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend. Bidders may be requested to sign an attendance sheet. Bidders who do not attend or do not send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment but they will not be precluded from submitting a bid. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.

NOTE TO POTENTIAL BIDDERS:

Bidders that consider themselves qualified to provide this Work and intend to submit bids on this project should obtain documents from the Government Electronic Tendering Service through the Government of Canada tendering service at www.buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders . Addenda, when issued, will be available from the Government of Canada tendering service. Bidders that elect to base their bids on documents obtained from other sources do so at their own risk. Late submissions will not be considered.
Standard Terms and Conditions for this procurement are incorporated by reference into, and form part of the Tender and Contract Documents.

DELIVERY DATE:

The Contractor shall perform and complete the Work on or before December 11, 2015.
