Description

MANDATE

  1. The work for this contract involves the production of stone of different sizes for the construction of artificial reefs on the lower north shore and the construction of a breakwater in Kégaska. The work for this contract does not include the construction of reefs nor a breakwater.
  1. Work includes mainly, without limitation:
  1. Production of 100-750 mm of stone.
  2. Production of 4-6 metric tonsof stone.
  3. Production of 2-3 metric tons of stone
  4. Transport and storage of stoneto Kégaska.
  1. Contractor’s use of the premises is limited to such areas as required to carry out the work, including access.
  1. The contractor is responsible for all activities in the quarry.
  1. The contractor is responsible of the storage site and stones until October 2016.
  1. When the workis finished, all stone will be owned by the Department, but the contractor will be responsiblefor thestones until October 2016.
