This requirement is for: The Correctional Service of Canada, Dorchester Penitentiary, Dorchester, NB
Trade agreement: Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT), World Trade Organisation-Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP), North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA)/Canada-Peru, Canada-Colombia and/or Canada-Chile Free Trade Agreements.
Tendering procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid.
Competitive Procurement Strategy: lowest priced compliant bid.
Set-aside under the Procurement Strategy for Aboriginal Business: This procurement is not subject to any set-asides for Aboriginal Suppliers.
Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: This procurement is not subject to a Comprehensive Land Claims Agreement.
Security Requirements: This contract does not include security requirements.
Nature of Requirements:
The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement.
The Correctional Service Canada has a requirement to have snow hauling and heavy equipment services on an as and when required basis.
Objectives: The supplier must provide snow hauling and clearance services on an as and when required basis at Dorchester Penitentiary Complex located in the town of Dorchester, New Brunswick at 4902 Main Street. The objective will be primarily but not limited to hauling of snow to designated snow dumps located on the institutional reserve, pushing of snow banks and snow dumps to allow storage space for future storms and exposing underground services for emergency and/or maintenance repairs to infrastructure as well as other miscellaneous work.
Deliverables: All work is to be done only when directed by the Chief, Facilities Management or his/her delegate.
The supplier will provide service on an as required basis, when requested by the Chief, Facilities Management or his/her delegate;
The supplier shall advise the Chief, Facilities Management or his/her delegate of the telephone number at which they or their representatives may be contacted at any time;
The supplier, on receipt of an authorized standing offer, will be advised by the Chief, Facilities Management or his/her delegate, in writing, the names of persons authorized to request service. Work undertaken at the request of others will be entirely at the supplier's risk with regard to payment;
The supplier will not refuse any calls for service and will respond within 24 hours to service calls and 4 hours on emergency calls related to repairs to underground infrastructure.
Use of equipment with operators will be measured in hourly rates for time on site and working

The debriefing may be in writing, by telephone or in person.
