    5P420-15-5245/A Shuttle Bus Service – Akamina Parkway, Waterton, AB.

    Passenger shuttle service to several locations along the Akamina Parkway during reconstruction of parking area and other visitor facilities.

    Optional Site Visit

    It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for the site visit to be held at 207 Fountain Avenue on Wednesday, March 16, 2016. The site visit will begin at 1:00 pm MST, at the Waterton Firehall.

    Parks Canada Agency requires a single contractor to provide shuttle services to hiker and cyclist passenger users only and their equipment at no charge to several locations along the Akamina Parkway . The cost for this service will be to Parks Canada Agency based on a firm unit price per passenger for trips as described under Annex A – Statement of Work in the Request for Proposal.

    National Parks Regulations require that all work is to be performed in accordance with the ordinances, laws, rules and regulations set out in the National Park Act.

    Bidders that consider themselves qualified to provide this Work and intend to submit bids on this project should obtain documents from the Government Electronic Tendering Service through the Government of Canada tendering service at www.buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders . Addenda, when issued, will be available from the Government of Canada tendering service. Bidders that elect to base their bids on documents obtained from other sources do so at their own risk. Late submissions will not be considered.

    The period of the Contract is from June 16, 2016 to September 18, 2016 inclusive.
