Cameron Day Use Area Rehabilitation – Waterton Lakes National Park

Requirement:

Waterton Lakes/Bar-U Field Unit, Waterton Lakes NP requires complete rehabilitation of the Cameron Lake Day Use Area. Work includes demolition of existing infrastructure, new parking, new visitor shelter and concession buildings, a new concrete plaza area, and associated signage, new interpretative trail, docking facilities and upgrades to picnic areas. See specifications and drawings for further details of the work.

Project Timeline:

The Contractor shall perform and complete all Work by June 1, 2017. See specifications for project milestones.

Optional Site Visit:

It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for the site visit to be held at the Operations Building, 1 Compound Road, Waterton, Alberta, on April 27, 2016. The site visit will begin at 1:00pm (MDT).

Bidders are requested to communicate with the Contracting Authority before the site visit to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend. Bidders may be requested to sign an attendance sheet. Bidders who do not attend or do not send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment but they will not be precluded from submitting a bid. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.

National Parks Regulations require that all work is to be performed in accordance with the ordinances, laws, rules and regulations set out in the National Park Act.
