    Description

    As part of the Geo-mapping for Energy and Minerals (GEM-2) Hudson-Ungava Project, Core Zone Bedrock mapping activity, a helicopter-supported, regional bedrock geological research and sampling program is being undertaken in a roughly 300 km long corridor northeast of Schefferville. Logistical support is required to operate in this remote part of Quebec and Labrador. The work described herein, is in part, restricted to the 2016 GEM-2 field season being conducted in the region in June and August 2016.

    The contractor is to provide logistic support for various aspects of fieldwork, which could include variances to account for poor weather. Logistic support will be broken down and defined by individual tasks in the following section, and includes specific tasks related to remote sites and support within the town of Schefferville.

    Complete logistical management of requirement, including provision of room/board for crew near Schefferville, Quebec (roughly 55 degrees north latitude and about 50 km to the west of 65 degrees west longitude) and George River lodge
