Description
Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) wishes to enter into an agreement a service provider to research non-permanent residents and their activities in the housing market. The service provider will be required to collect and analyze data on the size of the non-permanent resident population residing in Canada from various sources. Analysis should emphasize the trends and effects of non-permanent residents on demographics of Canada and housing demand. The service provider will quantify the potential missing household formation as a result and make recommendations regarding future CMHC analysis, in particular to improve projections of potential housing demand. Finally, the provider will measure the magnitude of foreign funds that temporary residents provide to residential real estate.
The term of this agreement is expected to be for ten (10) months. The total value of this agreement is not expected to exceed $45,200.00 for the term of the agreement, including all applicable taxes.
Submissions must be received at the exact location as specified in the RFSO document on or before the submission deadline of 2:00 pm EDT, on May 24, 2016.
